Content Policy for App Stores

Scored is a social community platform with a mission to unblur the lines between entertainment and politics.

These policies apply when using the platform via app-store distributed apps. For the general Content Policy, see Content Policy.

Content

Content is not welcome if it:

  • promote violences, or incite hatred against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, caste, immigration status, or any other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization.
  • depicts or facilitates gratuitous violence or other dangerous activities.
  • contains or facilitates threats, harassment, or bullying.
  • otherwise violates Apple or Google’s policies.
  • would in any way violate any applicable federal, state, or local law of the United States of America (including, without limitation, any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the US or other countries) and is not protected by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (the “First Amendment”).
  • is personal and confidential information (“doxing”).
  • impersonates or attempts to impersonate an individual or entity in a deceptive manner, for a purpose that is not protected by the First Amendment
  • is spam.

We have an obligation to remove content which is illegal, including violent threats and sexualization of minors.

Behavior

In addition to the above, the following behavior is not welcome:

  • engaging in vote manipulation.
  • actions which interfere with normal use of the platform.
  • using multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
  • posting NSFW content which is not properly marked as such.
  • calling for non-violating communities, users, or content to be banned, removed, or restricted, or for policies to be changed.

Enforcement

Enforcement of this policy may come in the following forms:

  • warnings, which may include a message and removal of the violating content.
  • temporary or permanent account bans.
  • removal of privileges from accounts.
  • adding restrictions to communities, such as marking the community as unsafe for work.
